Lavandin is a hybrid of two other lavender plants the Agustafolia and Latinafolia. The essential oil is still distilled from the flowers buds but the scent is a sharper top note with more aromatic properties. It is a gentler form of Lavender that can be used safely on even the youngest of beings. Its primary qualities include being a gentle but effective antiseptic and cicatrisant meaning it helps to heal the skin and reduce the appearance of scar tissue and blemishes in the skin. This oil has also been known to help relieve anxiety and stress and therefore helps as a sleep aid in unwinding at the end of the day.
